A lot of the products and services I use down below are basically a part of my daily life when it comes to saving money or keeping track of where my expenses are going.

Banking

As most of you know, I'm chipping away my credit card debt month by month. Doing everything I can to save a little bit of money or earn a little bit more because my goal is to get rid of it by the end of 2026.

I’m currently doing a variation of the 50/30/20 method and having multiple bank accounts dedicated for different goals helps me stay organized and stay on track. Below are the banks that I’m using.

Ally Bank

Ally Bank is my current and favorite online bank because it has a buckets feature for both their Checkings and Savings accounts. Basically, you have ONE high-yield savings account and you can distribute your multiple savings goals into buckets in that same account.

The interest is currently at 3.70% (as of April 2025) which is still pretty high than most Savings accounts, so open an Ally account and you'll get a $100 bonus and I’ll get a $50 referral reward!

Forbright Bank

Forbright Bank is another online-only bank, but they’re one of the few green banks aka a sustainable bank. I have been an environmentally conscious person since I was a child, but it wasn’t until more recently that I became more aware of sustainability and how everything that we use and consume truly affects our livelihood.

I came across Forbright on an Instagram ad and after proper research and reading their mission, I felt comfortable to let them become one of my banks that will hold my savings. They’re accredited by NerdWallet and Bankrate, they don’t support fossil fueled companies, they support the National Parks, AND their current interest rate is 4.25% (as of April 2025)??

Yeah, sign me up and let’s make our world a better and greener place to live in.

Novo Bank

I discovered Novo Bank when I first started Twitch streaming back in 2018 because I wanted to treat and separate my expenses that were for my content creation work.

I was already thinking ahead and wanted to treat all my side hustle work as an actual business even before I started my LLC. Plus I wanted to avoid the PayPal fees when I received my Twitch payout 🤭

If you’re thinking of starting a small business and want to keep it simple with banking, then try opening an account with Novo Bank. And when you use my referral link, we’ll both receive $40!
